AESP Marketing & Customer Engagement Spring Conference & Expo

May 2-4, 2017, Salt Lake City, UT

*Teaching, Moderating, and Speaking
AESP’s Spring Conference will be a dual track conference focusing on marketing and customer engagement. Marketing sessions will focus on innovative targeted or mass media marketing tactics and campaigns inside and outside of the energy efficiency industry. Customer Engagement sessions will focus on tactics, strategies, and results related to program participant recruitment and retention. Both tracks will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about marketing and customer engagement strategies.

Training

Laura Orfanedes will deliver the pre-conference training, “How to Build, Implement, and Evaluate a Customer Engagement Program” with co-trainer, Linda Dethman from Research Into Action. In this one-day course, Laura will present a set of guidelines and best practices, accompanied by applied exercises, that will step course participants through the planning/design, implementation, and evaluation requirements for a modern, integrated, and efficient customer engagement platform for demand side management (DSM) (energy efficiency, demand response, renewables) programs.

Laura Orfanedes will moderate a session on Marketing on Wednesday, May 3. The session will feature presenters on a variety of marketing topics, including: using data visualization to communicate technical information; innovative consumer research using social media platforms; and insights into utility customer engagement with email marketing.
